electron transfer photosensitization

https://doi.org/10.1351/goldbook.E02013
Photochemical process in which a reaction of a non-absorbing substrate is induced by @E02011@ (not energy transfer) with an excited light-absorbing @S05610@. The overall process must be such that the @S05610@ is recycled. Depending on the action of the excited @S05610@ as @E01988@ or acceptor the @S05607@ is called reductive or oxidative.
